So the women won by a landslide on the previous post. Now you have to choose WHICH woman you want on your desktop.
1. Pretty solid segment for Fandango and Jericho. When Summer Rae went down, I honestly thought this was WWE’s way of writing her off of TV completely and going with the girl Jericho was supposed to be dancing with, especially with the hype they’ve given her all day on their website. I thought it was pretty funny that JBL was complaining that we were seeing a fight instead of a dance-off considering ALL of his segments as Bradshaw ended in a fight. It was basic but a decent segment to set up an Extreme Rules match and trust me, parquet floors are HARD! As a side note concerning all of this pitching for the WWE App, when I have it open and it goes to “live” video, it asks me to update my Flash player… on my Apple iPad… yup.
2. Dean Ambrose vs Kofi Kingston for the United States Championship at Extreme Rules? Would they even book Ambrose in a title match if he wasn’t going to win it? I guess The Undertaker & Kane gave the former Jon Moxley rave reviews because he’s had a rocket strapped to his ass as far as singles’ competition goes since his one-on-one match with ‘Taker. By the way, did you see this week’s Wallpaper of the Week? If you’re a fan of The Shield, I think you’ll be happy.
Triple Threat Elimination Tag Team Match
: With Oliver Gray out injured I’m not sure who’s getting the worse end of the stick, his tag team partner Adrian Neville, or Gray’s replacement Bo Dallas.
: Besides the booking for this match coming up very short, and boring, considering the talent in the ring. Neville eliminated Primo first then Luke Harper accidentally capitalized taking out Adrian to pick up the win for The Wyatt Family.
: Video package for Summer Rae and Paige’s continuing feud. Isn’t it weird every time someone from NXT gets called up they are either the NXT Champion, or involved in one of the major feuds on NXT. Goes to show the WWE really doesn’t put long term thought into booking.
(Just an FYI, as much as I would have liked to watch Raw at a normal hour, I’m being a good citizen and watching the show “live” from 8-11p for all of you… Ok, seriously it was because I wasn’t home at 3pm this afternoon. I DID avoid reading anything today to stay spoiler free.)
1. That opening Undertaker package was something the WWE should have aired on EVERY SHOW at least twice for the last three weeks. The first Undertaker match on Raw in 3 YEARS! That’s absolutely insane. It’s kind of a shame it had to take place on a “live-to-tape” show though.
2. Very cool and expensive entrance for The Shield followed by yet another good promo from Ambrose and Rollins. The WWE is really attempting to build them up tonight as a threat to Team Hell No & especially The Undertaker. If they were smart, The Shield would go over AGAIN to maintain their legitimacy against Team Hell No for the tag team championships. The problem is, when a heel act usually gets this much attention & hype before a match, they’re the ones set up for the fall.
