<- Ah now back to my comfort zone, WWE-style production. I don’t know if that’s good or bad.
Natalya vs Summer Rae
<- God it’s been so damn long, you forget that Natalya is a FREAKING HART! She can GO in the ring. Apparently her talents are better used to valet The Great Khali to the ring though.
<- Summer Rae is surprising me a lot with a few of the moves she’s pulling out. Reminds me of Maryse and she had a pretty good run in the WWE.
<- And now Nattie is even jobbing to NXT rookies. Such a shame.
<- It’s the elusive Sami Zayn in an interview! Huh… well that was generic…
Bray Wyatt vs Danny Burch
<- Well Wyatt has certainly gone off the deep end with the new mask he’s sporting. There’s “Waylon Mercy” creepy and then there’s “Leatherface” creepy. Wyatt’s leaning more towards the latter with the mask.
<- I’ve always been impressed with Windham Rotunda, Husky Harris, Bray Wyatt, whatever you want to call him. For a guy his size, his athleticism is off the charts. Add that to the Wyatt character and the WWE might as well just print money.
<- Strange segment with Bo Dallas & Adrian Neville that seemed to tease a Bo Dallas heel turn, playing the big shot who has already been on the main roster. Honestly, Dallas is pretty bland as a babyface so maybe a heel turn is what he needs.
Conor O’Brian vs Sakamoto & Riley Pierce
<- It’s strange to think that this is the same “rat-faced” Conor O’Brian that was on season four of the original NXT with Alberto Del Rio as his mentor. The new look, character and Ryback-style squash matches are doing a lot for this guy. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him on the main roster soon.
<- Kinda funny seeing Dolph Ziggler‘s brother in action, especially since Ziggler is now the World Champion and Pierce looks a LOT like his brother. Well, at least like the brunette Dolph Ziggler that lasted a few months before everyone realized how stupid of a decision it was to dye his hair.
<- Corey Graves & Bray Wyatt had a confrontation backstage that didn’t accomplish much but I don’t think it meant to. Graves has a great look though and I’m surprised we haven’t heard much about him lately.
<- They’ve been teasing this whole show that there will be a battle royal in 2 weeks for the #1 contendership to Big E’s NXT Championship. It’s about time they’re taking the belt off of him since he’s been on the main roster now for months. It’ll be interesting to see who gets the call to carry the belt as only Big E and Seth Rollins have held the belt.
<- It’s still weird seeing Big E playing the babyface on NXT when he’s clearly a heel on Raw & SD.
<- A decent main event style match to showcase Big E Langston over an established main roster member in Sandow. Not anything special but better than a lot we see weekly on the bigger shows.
