: Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez came out, they had a video of what Swagger and Colter really were.
: If you don’t watch this vignette, stop watching wrestling, it was perfect. ‘How can you rule the world if you can’t leave the bathroom after you’ve eating Mexican food?’ Del Rio was a perfect Swagger, better than when DX portrayed The Nation of Domination.
: The champions looked and worked well together. Daniel tagged in Kane and the Big Red Machine continued the offense on Slater.
: Daniel Bryan tagged himself in, applied the ‘No Lock’ after Slater tried to catch Bryan off guard with a small package, but Team Hell No prevailed.
: The champions are starting to look a little stale, I can see them dropping the titles but to who? The Monsters of Funk seem to be the only option at this point.
: Backstage Ryback and Mark Henry crossed paths and exchanged a long stare. God, if these two battle at Mania the ring may cave in, that or someone will be legitimately injured. Hopefully it will be Ryback.
: Damien Sandow was in the ring, he cut a promo on how Ryback was someone Darwin forgot about, but before he could finish Ryback’s music hit. The best part of this whole match was Brad Maddox, hate on me.
: Since the split of Team Rhode Scholars Sandow and Cody Rhodes have become mid card jobbers to the stars. I sure hope someone has a plan for those two after Mania is done clouding everyone’s judgment.
: Ryback hit his trademark seizer closeline, can’t wait til Michael Cole refers to it as ‘Vintage Ryback’ followed by Shell Shock for the easy win over Sandow.
: Matt Striker was backstage interviewing Big Show about The Shield’s attack last week. Show said he blames Sheamus and Randy Orton for his attack last week, and tonight he would knock out Sheamus for it.
: Outside the ring Big E struck Del Rio as Ziggler distracted the referee. Ricardo looked to help Del Rio but Big E looked him back. Ricardo grabbed his bucket as AJ tried to restrain Big E, Ricardo tossed the bucket full of water at AJ, the PG version of puppy madness ala the Attitude Era. The referee ejected both Big E and AJ from ringside.
: Ziggler, caught on the top turnbuckle, as Del Rio climbed up and hit a reverse suplex from the top rope. Surprisingly Dolph and Alberto were both back to their feet quickly but Del Rio hit the ‘Si Kick’ but Ziggler kicked out at 2 ½.
: Alberto stuck Ziggler between the second and third rope and hit the backstabber, basically the code breaker from Chris Jericho.
: Del Rio from the top rope leaped but Ziggler hit a drop kick but somehow the champion kicked out just before the three count.
: Ziggler went for the Zig Zag but Del Rio countered and applied the arm bar forcing Dolph to tap.
Yoshi Tatsu v. Mark Henry
: As I stated in my NXT Recap, too bad Yoshi is just an enhancement wrestler, the guy is a worker.
: With that said, Henry continues to look strong, he and Ryback could have that kind of match where you don’t know who will win and would put on a very physical match somewhere in the middle of the card.
: Sheamus was backstage, it seems like every babyface is taking The Rock’s route, making fun of his opponents to get over.
Kaityln Divas Champion v. Tamina
: We all hate on The Rock against John Cena again, but how many times have we seen Kaityln against Tamina in the past couple of months or so? Anyone?
: The NXT Divas division has a lot more going for it then the main roster. Tamina did actually win this time so their feud continues?
: Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes were backstage together, Rhodes seemed to show interest in Kaitlyn while Sandow attempted to gain his former partner’s attention back.
Justin Gabriel v. Fandango
: Just like on Raw, Fandango refused to make his debut because the ring announcer wouldn’t say his name correctly. People already hate on this character, give it a try, its entertainment after all.
: Fandango is now technically 0-2, already jobbing to mid carders. I can be snarky too.
Sheamus v. Big Show
: The main event of the night is featuring two guys on the fast track, down the card. Sheamus was the face of SmackDown but he is trying to get on the WrestleMania card. While Big Show is a company man, always has been, he will do whatever is asked of him and perform every night.
: Big Show took the advantage tossing Sheamus into the corner like he was a child but Sheamus battled back, like he hit the ‘comeback’ button on WWE 13.
: Sheamus continued on his hot streak hitting ‘White Noise’ on Show as he locked for the Brogue Kick but Show rolled of the ring.
: Big Show tried to enter the ring but Sheamus hit the Brogue Kick followed directly by The Shield’s music hitting.
: Reigns, Ambrose and Rollins all surrounded the ring, Randy Orton ran down to even the odds a bit and the five men began to fight it out.
: The Shield began to beat down Sheamus and Orton, but Big Show came in to make the save, a baby face turn? Or just nothing for Show to do come Mania time.
: Sheamus turned around and Show hit him with the knockout punch, Orton then RKO’d Big Show to end SmackDown.
